There are now 112 various peanut products recalled by Canadian food safety regulators due to possible salmonella contamination.

The types of products include ice cream, ice cream cones, cereal bars, protein bars, and candy.
The source of the salmonella outbreak was in a Georgia, US peanut processing plant. There have been no reported illnesses yet in Canada, but in the US there have been 500 reported cases and possibly 8 deaths.
