For those of you waiting for a Britax sale in Vancouver, Crocodile Baby and TJs Kids both have the Britax Marathon in Denim on sale for $299 (Reg. $329). At TJs, the Mossy Oak style is also on sale.

If you haven't yet heard, with the Huggies Enjoy the Ride Rewards program you can accummulate points to enter sweepstakes for a Mom makeover, a $250 cash card. Or you can use them to enter "instant win" contests for a music download, $10 Subway gift card, $25 GAP or Bon Appetit card. The rewards change monthly. See my previous posting to see how to get 20 points.

By signing up, you are entered to win a year's supply of diapers. And even if you don't use Huggies, you can still sign up and accumulate points, because you can earn points by watching videos (commercials), answering polls, or doing "browse activities" such as contributing your own "tip" to a website. (It doesn't seem like they have codes on products, the way it is with Pampers).

And then there's the 88 FREE points! I've alphabetized the list so that it's easier for you if you have other points which you wish to compare them to. These are a lot of codes to enter, so here's a method for you to help enter them faster.

• Open up two instances Internet Explorer (or whatever Internet browser you use) windows.
• Double-click on the title bar of one of the windows. This will put the screen in "minimize" mode. Now you can place your curser on the bottom right corner to resize your screen. Resize it so it's roughly half the screen width. Click on the title bar and drag the window to your left to position this window on the left of your screen.
• Do the same with the other Internet Explorer window, except this time drag it to the right of your screen.
• You should now have your screens "tiled" side-by-side.
• Open my blog list of codes in one window.
• Open the EnjoytheRideRewards.com window in the other and log into your Enjoy the Ride Rewards account.
• Now you can copy and paste the codes by double-clicking on each part of the code, press Control-C with your non-mouse hand. Click into the boxes in the Enjoy the Ride Rewards and press Control-V to paste. You'll still need to type in the Security Code that comes up when you enter the code.
  
• Yes it's all still a bit tedious. If you can do this faster by printing out my list and typing, go for it! But using the copy-paste method you eliminate spelling errors.
  

Note, the point where you can print a coupon, it uses a special program which you must install first. I cannot get it to work. I've come across this program before and have never been able to get it to work... hopefully you will have more luck with it than me.

A few weeks ago, I went to a tweetup to meet with other "yummy mummies" and Erica Ehm! What's a tweetup? It's a gathering of people that met on Twitter!

It was great meeting other local moms that I have met on Twitter (and some I had not yet met on Twitter, too!). The highlight of the meeting was meeting Erica Ehm, whom you may remember as one of the original VJs from MuchMusic. Erica was elegant, classy, gorgeous as ever, just a lovely person - even though I only spoke to her for all of five minutes, she made a great impression! That she took time out of her one-day schedule in Vancouver to meet with us was awesome.

Erica Ehm is the force behind the website YummyMummyClub.ca. Insightful articles, lots of contests to enter, and events for yummy mummies across the country - you'll find these and more at this hip online hub for moms, because "Moms want to have fun, too".

On the IKEA website, the Coquitlam and Richmond locations are advertising FREE breakfasts for Mom on Mother's Day. However, the fine print states:

"Bring mom to IKEA on Mother's Day and we'll treat her to a FREE $1 breakfast. "

How $1 equals free has me laughing out loud, but I suppose $1 is close to free these days anyway!

The first 100 moms would also receive a small gift from IKEA. Breakfast is served between 9:30 and 11 am.

Last I checked on other locations across Canada, there were no Mother's Day events scheduled, unfortunately (what's with that!?).
